Tyran Park has created an all new imagined production of Barnum: The Circus Musical. Based on the life and times of the famous American circus impressario Phineas Taylor Barnum. The show is a fictional reimagining of his life prior to founding his circus and explores relationships with key figures in his life from his wife Charity, Jenny Lind and Joice Heath. Choreographer Kelly Aykers and Circus Director Zebastian Hunter worked with Musical Director Stephen Gray to create musical numbers that integrated circus and dance with flawless ease.
Adrian’s career has spanned the globe working with some of the best producers, directors, designers and performers. Graduating with a BA(Hons) in Public Administration and a post-graduate diploma in Stage Management Adrian toured extensively throughout the UK, USA, Israel, India and Australia; as well as working in the West End. In 2015 he set up STOREYBOARD ENTERTAINMENT as a professional company to produce theatrical shows other commercial producers wouldn’t risk; using Australian talent. Following a successful workshop of “Our House- the madness musical” the first professional production was “Follies – in concert” followed more recently by “Barnum” starring Todd McKenney & Rachael Beck. Both Follies & Barnum were a critical and commercial success which we now hope to reproduce with our latest offering “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” starring Lachy Hulme (Offspring, Romper Stomper, Beaconsfield). In addition to producing, StoreyBoard Entertainment also acts as a general management company; working on “Fiddler On The Roof (In Yiddish with english surtitles)” for John Frost and Opera Australia, and Cirque Stratosphere from the creators of The Illusionists and Cirque 1903.
