Past Productions

Empty Bodies was created and presented at the National Institute of Circus Arts in the National Circus Centre from September 7 - 10, 2016. Empty Bodies was again remounted and staged as part of the Provocaré Festival in 2018.

Precipice was created and presented at the National Institute of Circus Arts in the National Circus Centre from September 20 - 23, 2017.

Le Sacré was created as a collaboration between NICA and the Australian Ballet School and presented at the National Institute of Circus Arts in the National Circus Centre from June 14 - 23, 2018.

Dispersion was created and presented at the National Institute of Circus Arts in the National Circus Centre from June 18 - 22, 2019.

The site specific performance included the installation of a 3d flying system above the newly installed fountain and specially installed seating grandstands, plus winches located on top of the Jio World Centre. for aerial performances across the face of the building. Our team included 32 performers (Aerial Harness, Hoop, Trapeze, Straps, Adagio, and LED Poi) and 20 production staff.

With music by Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity), book by Mark Bramble (42nd Street) and lyrics by Michael Stewart (Hello Dolly!), Barnum is traditional musical theatre blended with real-life circus. Barnum appeared at the Melbourne Comedy Theatre from April 27 - June 2, 2019.

The Christmas show has been created as an annual charity show for Chadstone the Fashion Capital during December 2017, 2018 and 2019. The proceeds of the show were donated to the Starlight Foundation.

Perpetual Frustration Machine was created and presented as part of Theatre Works programmed season from December 7 - 21, 2018.

Eurydike and Orpheus was a co-production between two of Australia’s elite training institutions the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). This production was presented in the Playhouse theatre at NIDA in June 2017.

DownPour, inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky’s short story White Nights, has toured both nationally and abroad. In 2010 A4 was invited to perform at Montreal’s inaugural Circus Festival where they received great reviews and full houses each night. They have performed at the Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festivals, Sydney Hoopla Festival, Theatre Works in Melbourne and toured around regional victoria funded by Regional Arts Victoria.
